Abhayam embraces 'Service' instead of a 'Business Plan'. It was built on three decades of watching, up close, what happens when elderly patients don't have someone by their side in a hospital.

S. Hariharan brings 44 years of experience in the pharma industry, with extensive coverage across India and several other countries as Head of Marketing Operations. Over the course of his career, he built close, trusted relationships with many doctors and was instrumental in ensuring facilities delivered both quality medicines and quality service to patients. He views his association with Abhayam as a continuation of this lifelong commitment to patient care.
Harini Balasubramanian hails originally from Coimbatore and now lives in the greater Seattle area with her husband and two young sons. As an only child with elderly parents still in Coimbatore, she carries a deep personal passion for the dignity, care, and well-being of elders in the community. Professionally, she serves as Director of Design and Engineering for AI Networking at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, where she leads teams building large-scale cloud networking systems.
Sadhana V Shankar is a lawyer with three decades of professional experience, now looking to give back to society through meaningful community work. She is approaching her involvement with Abhayam deliberately, taking baby steps as she finds her footing in this new area of service. Her legal background brings a grounded, thoughtful perspective to the causes she chooses to support.
Poornima Kumar is a Counselling Psychologist and Classical Dance Instructor, driven by a passion for nurturing mental well-being alongside artistic expression. She specializes in offering compassionate, non-judgmental counselling to cancer patients and palliative care patients and their families, helping them navigate emotional distress and build resilience in difficult times. She is honoured to be part of the Abhayam family and looks forward to extending her services with dedication and compassion.
Srimathi Veeramani, B.Com., CA, PGDFM, PGDMM, has spent over 12 years creating and publishing the Voice of Jagadguru e-magazine in multiple Indian languages, dedicated to sharing spiritual and cultural knowledge. She is also a novelist and writer, with her novels featured on leading digital platforms and her books reaching diverse audiences through social media. Alongside her literary work, she conducts classes on slokas, scriptures, and ethical values, and offers family counselling and guidance to help individuals and families lead more harmonious lives.
Nagaraj Iyer is a seasoned IT professional with over 30 years of industry expertise, holding an MCA along with certifications including PMP, ITIL, and Six Sigma Green Belt. His career spans the Ministry of Communications, Electronic Data Systems, and Hewlett Packard, including a stint in the United States supporting global operations for the Transportation Vertical. Returning to India in 2013 as Head of Delivery & Sales for Orion India System Pvt Ltd, he later founded his own organisation, Divasprik, in 2018. With over 30 years of teaching experience, he now runs Divasprik Academy, offering training in Generative AI, Cyber Security, and Digital Marketing.

Ltd., brings 36 years of rich and diverse experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having worked across various capacities to gain extensive knowledge and expertise in the sector. Beyond his professional achievements, he is a dedicated social worker with a strong desire to give back to the community and support initiatives that improve people's lives and well-being. Shanthi Sivabalan is an accomplished Corporate Trainer and IT Consultant with over 25 years of experience at IBM, holding a B.Com and an M.S. in Information Technology, and has consistently harmonized business insight with technological expertise throughout her career. For 15 years in Jakarta, Indonesia, she served as Head of IT and Consultant at GMIS, leading digital transformation initiatives and mentoring diverse teams, before returning to India three years ago with rich cross-cultural experience and a legacy of innovation in education and corporate training. Devoted to social welfare as a lifelong passion, she now channels her skills and wisdom toward uplifting communities and fostering inclusivity.
Abhayam exists so that no senior citizen faces a healthcare crisis alone. We're building a structured, dependable support system: medical guidance, coordination, handholding, and emotional support, from the first healthcare need through recovery, assisted care, palliative care, and, when necessary, end-of-life support.
